Manon Villeneuve is French Canadian and has a degree in Analytical Chemistry. She moved to Raleigh, NC in 1993 and started working at a pharmaceutical company. In 2015, the company closed all R&D activities, therefore Manon had to decide what to do next. She always had a passion for baking and started baking batches and batches of cupcakes. Just for fun, she posted pictures of her cupcakes on Facebook and her friends started asking her to bake for them. This was the beginning of a new chapter. Baking is chemistry, so why not! Manon's kitchen was inspected by North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and is certified for home base baking business.
Manon bakes homemade cupcakes using a natural approach (no artificial flavor). Frosting is made with real butter. Only fresh fruits or natural coloring are used for the frosting which provide the color. She use real maple syrup, high quality spices, sea salt and natural extract. No sweeteners. She is known for her good ratio of cake/frosting, yet customers request are accepted for desired frosting amount.
Good news for nuts/peanuts allergies. Manon does not cross contaminate any nuts/peanuts with any flavors that do not have nuts. She makes everything separately and washes everything after each batch.
Gluten Free is available for chocolate cupcakes: mocha, mint caramel/coconut and peanut butter.
Environmental friendly, plastic containers from berries are washed and re-used to package small orders.
